What is the Crown of Santiago?
You must be wondering why this project is called CROWN OF SANTIAGO? And this is something natural and important to know better why such a concept is given. This makes us more integrated, aware of our existential transience, brings correct empathy, solidarity and many other positive things in the sense of understanding.
The idea of the project, called the Crown of Santiago, has two objectives: the first is to reward the ancient pilgrim called the apostle James, or Santiago Maior, as well as the pilgrims who continue this path and do so to this day, almost along the same routes and in almost the same religious and sacred way, for the purification of their souls and to strengthen their Faith, just as it was in the beginning.
Secondly, for me, calling the project the Crown of Santiago refers to a symbolic question of the virtue of perseverance and resilience of people in the face of major problems and serious difficulties that we often need to overcome, even if it is only through belief in the miracle that comes from Above and even if it seems impossible to overcome barriers and problems.
So in this sense, the Faith of each one of us, in our crowns of Faith, Virtue and Perseverance must be concrete and without any doubt about the ancient history of Christianity and its true testimonies of overcoming and belief that still remain alive in various forms and with much greater evidence that is even more concrete than we think and what we witness.
In addition to the suffering of all those who have been mistreated by agents of the State for questioning corruption in their country and who have suffered, almost like me, in the face of the honest, lucid and concrete fight against contradictions and lies that subvert personalities, change behaviors and take away the dignity of human beings in a violent way through the subversive apparatuses and puppet institutions of the State; a suffering that permeates the restriction of opinion, the material restriction (in my case, the loss of academic and employment rights in Brazil, because if you do not agree with corruption you are considered out of the game of the social and economic system), censorship followed by plagiarism (there are links that I can leave here that clearly demonstrate the plagiarism suffered). With this, there are rationalities acquired with great historical depth, that despite all the pressure suffered on me, there remains a space for hope and that we should not remain silent or lower ourselves to the same level as those who are detractors of public power. On the contrary. We need to be able to debate on equal terms the reasons for the illicit use of state resources that are not for real social development.
There are many people who currently work within the state who suffer from social delinquency combined with other comorbidities that have only harmed the common and legal state and people's normal lives.
It really wasn't easy to get to this point in my pilgrimage, July 2025, when I am writing this material.
But I know that all the suffering I have experienced and the results of it now give me a different perspective on everything, especially having the fleeting opportunity to be writing all this material from within the Camino de Santiago, which makes everything much more magical than it already is.
I hope to be able to talk more about this one day and that we can create a greater sense of resilience in the face of the future major global problems that humanity will certainly face. We need to be aware now!
Of Virtues
My journey to Santiago and what I have learned about my journey of perseverance and resilience lie in the sacred things that humanity must still believe in. But this is like Pandora's Box, which needs to be courageously opened within us.
On Perseverance and Resilience
How can we cultivate a positive life without the constant practice and perseverance of self-discipline and internal improvement? For those who want health and well-being, these are basic things. But what would this be when combined with the destiny that we cannot change and are forced to accept? Accepting our love for our destiny is the essential key to this journey.
